For makers in Oman

Your craft deserves to be discovered.

  • Buyers message you on WhatsApp
  • A weekly view of your shop
  • A link and QR code to share

Why makers join Sawiliy

  1. Your own shop

    A home for your work.

Your name, your words, your prices and the days you need, on one page that is yours.

  2. Be discovered

Let people looking for handmade work find you.

Your pieces sit beside other makers' work, by craft and by occasion, and your page is one link you can send anywhere.

  3. Stay close to customers

    Direct WhatsApp contact.

Buyers message you on WhatsApp straight from a piece's page. The question is also saved in your enquiries and emailed to you.

  4. See what's working

    A weekly shop overview.

Each week: how many people looked, which piece they looked at most, and who is still waiting for an answer.

From here to your first enquiry

  1. Apply

Sign in with your email, then tell us about what you make.

  2. We review

A person reads it. You hear by email or WhatsApp either way.

  3. Your shop opens

An email tells you it is approved, with a button to start. Add your logo, a few words about you and where you deliver.

    What the approval email says
Your shop is approvedTo publish a piece, you need:
    • A title
    • A category
    • A price
    • At least one photo
  4. Add your pieces

A title, a category, a price and one photo make a listing. Made to order is fine: set the days you need.

  5. Share your shop

One link shows everything you have, always current. Copy it, send it on WhatsApp, or print its QR code.

  6. Receive enquiries

When someone asks about a piece, they message you on WhatsApp, and you also get an email and see the question in your enquiries.

Finding it hard to get set up? We help you onboard. Send us your photos and prices on WhatsApp and we prepare the shop for you; you claim it with a link when it is ready, and it is yours.

Before you apply

Who this is for

Makers, first. People anywhere in Oman who make things by hand and sell them: jewellery, home decor, pottery, art, candles, crochet, personalised gifts, bags and accessories, party decorations. Services (makeup, photography, decoration, henna) can apply too; makers are who we are building for now.

Not for reselling, and not for food or anything that needs a licence we cannot check.

You do not need a shop, a studio or a registration. Most makers here work from home. Three pieces are enough to start.

What you need

  • A WhatsApp number. It is how buyers reach you, so it is shown on your shop.

  • An email address, so every question about your work also lands somewhere you will see it, not only on one phone.

  • A name for your shop, in Arabic or English or both. One is enough.

  • Your own photos. Four per piece is plenty: the whole piece, a close-up, something for scale, and it in use or wrapped. Daylight, a plain background, no filters. Phone photos are fine; there is a short guide inside, and the app makes them the right size.

  • Your prices, and the days you need to make or send each piece.

Nothing else. No ID, no passport, no licence. A link to your Instagram helps us see the shop is yours, and it is optional.

What it costs

Nothing. No fees, no commission.

If that ever changes, we will tell you before it does, never after.

You don't have to work this out alone.

A small team, real answers, and the tools already in your dashboard.

Talk to us on WhatsApp
  • Talk to us

    A person answers.

WhatsApp us with a question before, during or after your application, or write to hello@sawiliy.com.

  • Your week at a glance

You will know whether anyone came.

Your dashboard shows how many people looked, which piece they looked at most, and who is still waiting for an answer.

  • Share your shop

One link does the repeating for you.

Copy it, send it on WhatsApp, or print its QR code for your packaging and your stall.

  • Practical guidance

Phone photos are enough, done right.

A short photo guide sits inside the listing form, with the four shots worth taking.

Finding it hard to get set up? Send us your photos and prices on WhatsApp and we prepare the shop for you to claim.

Run your shop from your phone

A few questions

Will people see my work?
Your page is on Google, and it is the link you share on Instagram and WhatsApp. We share new makers on Sawiliy’s own Instagram. We are small and new, and we will not promise numbers we do not have.
Do I need a shop or a studio?
No. Most makers here work from home. You choose which city to show.
I only have three pieces. Is that enough?
Yes. Three good photos of three real pieces beat thirty of nothing.
My pieces take time to make.
That is normal here. Mark a piece “made to order” and set the days you need; buyers see it before they ask.
Do I need a Commercial Registration or a licence?
No. If a product legally needs a licence, such as food, we cannot list it.
Is my phone number shown to buyers?
Yes. Buyers message you on WhatsApp directly, so your number is shown on your shop.
Do I have to write in Arabic?
No. Arabic, English or both. Buyers see whichever you wrote.
Who takes the money? Who delivers?
You do, directly with the buyer. You state where you deliver, how long it takes and what it costs.
What if my application is not approved?
We message you on WhatsApp about why. If something changes, reply there.
